A wall mounted fitting of this size is a product where three details decide everything and none of them is the material. The first is the edge: on 1.0 mm sheet a cut edge is sharp enough to cut a finger or tear a carton liner, and deburring leaves a square edge that is still uncomfortable, so anything a hand touches is folded into a hem rather than deburred. The second is the interface between the fitting and whatever goes inside it – on a tissue holder the cavity, the opening and the clearance at the feed point have to be dimensioned together from a sample, because enlarging the cavity on its own makes the contents shift.
