Buyers in Europe and North America often need confidentiality settled before they release drawings. This page sets out exactly how we handle your files, and how to put a signed agreement in place first.
1. Our standing commitment
Independently of any signed agreement, Ningbo Fulei Metal Products Co., Ltd. treats every customer drawing, model and specification as confidential. The table below is the handling rule we apply by default.

| Will they be reused? | No. We do not reuse customer designs for other buyers and do not reverse-engineer a part to sell it on. |
| Will they be published? | No. Your drawings, your part photographs and your company name are never published without your written permission. |
| Where are they stored? | On our own server at our factory, in a directory that is not reachable from the public internet. Files are not placed on public file-sharing services. |
| Who can see them? | The sales engineer handling your enquiry and the production and quality staff who must work on your order. Nobody else. |
| What if we do not place an order? | Retention follows our privacy notice. You may ask us to delete submitted files at any time and we will confirm when it has been done. |
| What if we ask for them back? | We return or destroy the files, and any copies, on written request, and confirm in writing that it has been done. |
2. Putting an NDA in place before you send files
Some purchasing processes require a signed non-disclosure agreement before any drawing leaves your company. That is normal and we work with it. There are three routes:

| Our mutual NDA | Ask us for our standard mutual non-disclosure agreement. It protects both sides, so your information and ours are covered on the same terms. |
| Written confidentiality confirmation | Where your process is lighter, we can issue a written confirmation of the handling rules in section 1, naming the signatory and the date, before you release anything. Many buyers accept this for a first sample. |
3. What our mutual NDA covers
- Confidential information — drawings, models, specifications, samples, commercial terms, volumes and pricing, and the existence of the discussions themselves.
- Obligations — to use the information only for evaluating and performing the project, to restrict access to those who need it, and to protect it with at least reasonable care.
- Exclusions — information that is already public, was already known to the receiving party without a duty of confidence, is independently developed without use of the disclosed information, or is lawfully received from a third party.
- Compelled disclosure — where law requires disclosure, the receiving party gives prompt notice where lawful and discloses only what is required.
- Term — confidentiality obligations typically run for three to five years after the discussions end, and indefinitely for trade secrets.
- Return or destruction — on request, confidential material is returned or destroyed and that fact confirmed in writing.
- Remedies — the parties acknowledge that damages may be inadequate and that injunctive relief may be appropriate.
- Governing law — normally the law of the People’s Republic of China, or the law you propose where your process requires it and it is reasonable.
4. What we need in order to sign
- The full legal name of your company and its registered address.
- The name, title and email of the person authorised to sign.
- The correct legal entity name for us to sign as: Ningbo Fulei Metal Products Co., Ltd..
- Whether the agreement is mutual or one-way, and the confidentiality period after the project ends.
- Whether you need it signed electronically or on paper.
5. Practical notes
- Send the NDA before the drawings, or send both together stating that the NDA governs. Files already sent can be covered by dating the agreement accordingly — just say so.
- If you need drawings deleted after an NDA-governed review that does not lead to an order, ask and we will delete them and confirm in writing.
- If your compliance team needs a data processing addendum, a security questionnaire or a supplier declaration completed, send it and we will complete it.
- We can also confirm our insurance position, business licence details and audited quality certification where your supplier onboarding requires it.
